Responsible for the overall presentation, merchandising and inventory control throughout the store. Leads, directs, and actively participates in various aspects of the freight and merchandising process, including freight
prep, stocking, product placement, and re-lays and ensures all marketing, pricing, planograms, and ad sets are accurately executed. Works collaboratively with store leadership to drive overall store performance. When
serving as Manager on Duty, leads and provides direction to all associates. Occasionally required to run a cash register, perform customer service on the sales floor, or assist with recovery as needed.
1. Responsible for the overall presentation and merchandising throughout the store, ensuring all areas of
merchandise presentation and visual merchandising are set to brand standards and all marketing, pricing,
planograms, and ad sets are accurately executed.
2. Uses creativity and trends to create thematic visual displays that drive attachment, basket, and provide
inspiration to the customer.
3. Plans and leads preparation for new merchandise on the sales floor, truck unload, freight flow, display
assembly, ticketing, and stocking tasks.
4. Provides clear work direction, training, and coaching to associates regarding freight flow process and
furniture assembly.
5. Utilizes company tools, reports, and feedback to effectively analyze trends and collaborates with store
leadership in refining plans.
6. Establishes plans to accomplish merchandising initiatives and achieve defined goals.
7. Assists in the stockroom organization and cleanliness, including back stock control.
8. Prepares for upcoming merchandising efforts and assist in reconciling all inventory transactions, in
conjunction with store merchandising leadership.
9. Serves in the Manager on Duty role as needed including opening and closing the store. When serving in this
role, provides leadership and direction to all associates and ensures that store, merchandising, and
customer service standards are continuously met, including merchandise presentation, signage, recovery,
and cleanliness. Drives the customer experience and ensures resolution of customer issues.
1. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Knowledgeable regarding trends and visual merchandising techniques required; minimum of two years retail
visual merchandising experience preferred.

3. Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and interpersonal skills required.
4. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required. Ability to unload freight, to move
product on and off store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move
freely throughout store on a continual basis required.
5. Availability to work a variable schedule of up to 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
required.
6. Flexible with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.
7. Basic English literacy, math, and PC skills required

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
