Our Assistant Manager will help run the daily activities of the Swim Associates and adhere to the Big Blue Swim School standards. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and we will provide all necessary training for lesson and pool related responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

Coach and instruct Swim Associates in providing safe and effective swim lessons

Conduct daily monitoring and review of instruction and student progress to ensure appropriate progression

Communicate with parents/customers on a regular basis to provide appropriate status updates and a high level of customer service

Ensure Swim Associates are adhering to Big Blue Swim School principles and curriculum

Enforce all safety procedures and required certifications

Ensure efficient building operations including cleanliness, water quality, and pump room operations

Other duties as assigned

Assistant Manager Qualifications:

Previous management or supervisory experience preferred

High School Diploma/GED required

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions

Must possess the ability to communicate and respond to student and customer interactions

Ability to work in the pool as needed

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Will train for lifeguard, CPR, CPO certifications (Paid for by Big Blue Swim School)
