Position: Deck Supervisor

Big Blue Swim School Ann Arbor

Location: 914 W. Eisenhower Parkway, Ann Arbor MI 48104

Beautiful NEW facility conveniently located near I-94 & AA Saline Rd Exit in Cranbrook Village Shopping Center next to Whole Foods & REI.

Reports to: General Manager
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

Assist with Supervision of 25-30 staff including but not limited to hiring/terminations, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
One 8-hour shifts per week as a Swim Instructor with 3-4 hours in the water to stay current with all student curriculum. No swimming experience necessary.
Weekend and evening work required
Maintain a sparkling clean environment for customers and staff.
Engage with students, parents/customers, and staff to ensure people are enjoying their time at Big Blue.
Maintain pump room equipment and chemical supplies.
Help General Manager & Owner with community sales & marketing activites as needed.
Work with Owner & GM with financial statements and budgeting (no experience necessary but an excellent learning opportunity).

Qualifications

Love working with kids!
Experience supervising staff
Ability to lift 30 lbs. and ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended hours for work requirements
Ability to safely work with pool chemicals.
