Big 3 Precision Products is Hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Near Dearborn, MI
- Schedule/order trucks, as necessary. Communicate with other departments to coordinate the flow of product/materials into/out departments.
- Ensure paperwork (domestic/foreign) and shipments are staged and ready for scheduled pick-up or delivery, and that they take place as planned. Complete or ensure the completion of wrapping, banding, etc. of finished product according to customer requirements.
- Verify all material to the packing slips and all MATERAL is COUNTED.
- Enter material receipts into Job Boss daily and forward documents to Admin.
- Complete customer required shipping data transmissions.
- Operate a forklift.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Organize storage areas for raw materials, supplies, tools, and fixtures. Maintain appropriately for FIFO, neatness, cleanliness and safety.
- Independent; self-motivated/confident, work independently, team-orientated, can follow instructions, good attendance leadership ability, decision maker, attention to details, meet deadlines.
- Understanding of tools required to produce product.
- Work accurately, with attention to detail, and be able to detect defects.
- Communication skills.
- Operate Company Vehicle; valid drivers’ license/good driving record, and ability to read maps.
- Operate Office Machines & Equipment.
- Operate Forklift; propane/electric and possess a valid Hilo license. Expiration Date:
- Speak, read, and write in the English language.
- Stand, Walk, and reach with arms, hands, and fingers.
- Lift, carry, push, pull items up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
- Basic Math; count, add, and subtract.
- PC Skills; Word, Excel, Email, Internet, networking awareness.
