Summary:
The Sales Representative is vital to the growth and expansion of RL Liquidators and its affiliated entities. This position plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding RL Liquidator’s customer base. The Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively promotion our products and services to meet those needs.
Day to Day:
● Prospect for new accounts
● Manage and develop current relationships
● Analyze the sales market by understanding industry trends
● Complete any administrative tasks for clients
● Perform strategic sales planning
● Update records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions
● Create regular reports on sales performance
Responsibilities:
● Generating new interest in accounts
● Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
● Staying up to date with the sales market
● Working with Salesforce
● Utilizing company Salesforce to track sales and progress of client growth
● Completing any assigned tasks efficiently
● Supporting overall company branding
● Maximizing sales recovery by strategic sales planning
● Analyzing sales data and trends to make informed decisions
● Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations
● Preparing regular reports on sales performance and market trends
● Identifying and targeting potential new customer to expand the client base
● Traveling to meet clients or attend trade shows and events
● Turning in all documentation and receipts on time
● Attending meetings
● Reporting any need for supplies to the Operations Manager
● Maintaining a safe working environment for all fellow employees
● Reporting employee misconduct to Human Resources
● Showing up on time
● Communicating promptly with manager any sick days, late arrivals, and requests for time off
● Submitting personal time off requests to manager no later than two weeks prior to the desired date
● Taking breaks and lunches on time according to state law
● Completing and complying with discrimination and sexual harassment training
Qualifications:
● Able to travel overnight to trade shows several times a year
● Ability to self-motivate or work in a team environment as necessary
● Willingness to work at a fast pace in an ever-changing industry
● Entrepreneurial work ethic
● 1-2 years sales/lead generation experience
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Proficient in MS, especially Excel and Outlook
● Previous Salesforce experience a plus
● Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English (preferred)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – 40.00 / hour
OTE = $100k / year
