We are hiring for an Assistant Manager at BidRL in West Sacramento

Hours of operation are:Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-5:30pm. Full-time (40) hours per week with possible overtime. Assistant Manager will be required to be available during the above hours.

Duties:

• Management and support of 2-3 employees by delegating tasks effectively and efficiently
• Running front desk operations (3 days a week) including customer interaction, retrieving customer orders and building digital auction lots
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures
• Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions
• Ability to fill in for employees as needed
• Take pictures of auction items
• Organize inventory and warehouse floor space as needed
• Ability to regularly lift up to 70 lbs.
• Lifting and moving various items (boxed or unboxed) to and from shelving units, shopping carts, rolling carts, or other areas of the warehouse
• Unloading truckloads of inventory by hand and sorting merchandise into categories
• Ability to resolve customer relation issues diplomatically
• Ability to resolve employee workplace issues
• Ability to take direction from managers while also being self-motivated
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience
• Charismatic, friendly, enjoys working with customers
• Computer skills and ability to navigate BidRL website (training will be provided)
• Reliable, motivated, self-starter with critical thinking skills
• Forklift certification highly desirable

A successful candidate will need to know and understand:

• The BidRL policies and procedures
• The storefront processes
• How to effectively enforce the Terms of Use to customers if conflict arises
• How to encourage teamwork in the workforce
