The Biden For President Campaign is seeking a passionate Latino engagement deputy director to support Latino engagement and organizing efforts across the country. 

An organizer at heart, the deputy director will be responsible for supporting partners, volunteers and staff across the country to ensure that the campaign is reaching Latinos where they are and engaging them both as volunteers and voters.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Latino director in implementing the campaign’s strategy to engage and mobilize Latino supporters.

• Represent the campaign at coalition events, meetings, conference calls, and trainings that advance program goals.

• Support the Latino program by facilitating coordination across departments on events, messaging, policy, and programming focused on Latinos. 

• Manage Latino Diaspora grassroots groups, particularly in expansion and distributed states.
• Work with the Director of Latino Engagement to ensure communication between campaign HQ, Latino diaspora groups, and Latinos con Biden volunteers and chapters.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience working on Latino outreach or organizing on a campaign or political organization.

• Strong political judgment and knowledge of key issues that matter to Latino voters. 

• Type A about organizing. Knows their way around spreadsheets. Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detail-oriented manner. Ability to work well under pressure. 

• A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively and a ‘no task too small’ attitude.

• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred but not required
