Overview:The Biden For President Campaign is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to configure, maintain, and secure various tools and platforms used across the campaign. This person will be part of our IT team and will work hand in hand with our Security team to ensure platforms are configured in a secure fashion. We are looking for candidates with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, configuration, rollout, and ongoing maintenance of a wide variety of SaaS platforms.
• Create operational policies & procedures for new and existing platforms.
• Train the Help Desk Team on new tools, best practices, and lifecycle management procedures.
• Own, configure, and improve our Identity and Access Management platforms (IAM).
• Own, configure, and improve our Mobile Device Management tooling (MDM).
• Work with other departments and implement technical solutions that fit their unique needs. 
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems availability.
• Plan and implement automation as required for better efficiency.
• Own incremental configuration changes and patching of our HQ networking stack.
• Provide tier 2 and 3 support to the Helpdesk team, troubleshooting any complex and unique issues that arise with hardware, software, and SaaS platforms.
• Train staff on specific IT tools and Security best practices.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Helpdesk Engineer or Systems Engineer in a cloud based, modern IT environment.
• Strong technical implementation & troubleshooting background.
• Deep knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and other IT systems.
• Knowledge of identity and access management.
• Knowledge or experience of Information Security preferred.
• Previous political campaign experience preferred.
