Position Title: School Principal

Primary Function:

The School Principal provides dynamic leadership for the direction, supervision, and coordination of all administrative and instructional operations within Bible Baptist Christian Academy. This role is pivotal in fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth among students and staff alike, while upholding the school's Christian values.

Major Responsibilities:

• Instructional Leadership:
• Develops and implements instructional programs aligned with the school's curriculum and Christian principles.
• Encourages staff and students in achieving academic goals while nurturing their spiritual development.
• Discipline and Positive Environment:
• Maintains a positive school environment through effective discipline strategies and maximizing instructional time.
• Ensures sound discipline policies are in place to support student success and uphold biblical principles.
• Guidance and Counseling:
• Provides comprehensive guidance and counseling services to support the holistic development of all students, grounded in Christian values.
• Communication and Community Engagement:
• Establishes and maintains open communication channels with parents and the community to foster support and involvement.
• Upholds transparency in all aspects of school operations and decision-making, reflecting Christian integrity.
• Personnel Management:
• Supervises and evaluates all school personnel, fostering a culture of professionalism and Christian leadership.
• Supports the professional development of certified staff, promoting ongoing learning and growth in faith.
• Resource Management:
• Maximizes the use of available resources to support instructional goals and enhance the overall school experience, guided by biblical stewardship principles.
• Ensures compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures governing school operations, grounded in Christian ethics.
• Record Keeping and Reporting:
• Maintains accurate records and submits required reports in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards and biblical integrity.

Specific Duties:

• Collaborates with staff to set short and long-term goals aligned with the school's Christian mission.
• Exercises effective decision-making based on comprehensive data analysis and biblical principles.
• Inspires enthusiasm, initiative, and confidence among all stakeholders, rooted in Christian love and compassion.
• Demonstrates ethical conduct and professionalism consistent with biblical teachings.
• Delegates authority judiciously while providing necessary support and guidance, guided by Christian servant leadership.
• Maintains accessibility and fosters positive relationships with stakeholders, reflecting Christ-like humility and grace.
• Communicates clear expectations and priorities to promote accountability and unity within the school community, guided by biblical truth.
• Allocates resources efficiently and identifies areas for improvement, guided by biblical stewardship principles.
• Produces clear and concise communications, both orally and in writing, reflecting Christian clarity and grace.

Spiritual Requirements:

All employees of Bible Baptist Christian Academy are expected to exemplify a strong Christian faith and commitment to discipleship. This includes maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, engaging in daily devotions, and active participation in Bible Baptist Church. Employees must adhere to the school's Statement of Faith and uphold ethical standards consistent with biblical principles.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• College degree required, with a preference for a Master's degree.
• Prior teaching and leadership experience, ideally at the level of the assigned position.
• Demonstrated ability to provide spiritual leadership within an educational context.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional management, and general school administration.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

The School Principal must be able to fulfill job responsibilities safely and effectively, in compliance with relevant regulations and Christian values. This includes maintaining regular attendance and meeting productivity standards as outlined by applicable laws and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
