  1. Summary/Objective 

    The Business Services Billing Analyst is responsible for providing financial based billing analytical support to management. They are responsible for monthly reporting and special projects. They are responsible for sending itemized bills to patients following all regulatory requirements under Senate Bill 490. They ensure that all unbilled claims are finalized for billing the insurance and patient timely and accurately.

    Essential Job Duties

    1. Develops and maintains trend analysis reports that monitor billing key performance indicators.

    2. Assists in the preparation and submission of monthly billing reports to management

    3. Sends itemized bills to patients timely following all regulatory requirements under Senate Bill 490.

    4. Works reports to ensure all outstanding paid claims are resolved according to Senate Bill 490 guidelines.

    5. Reviews and processes all paid patient balance claims timely for billing within Senate Bill 490 guidelines.

    6. Works reports daily to identify accounts ready for billing and to identify accounts with issues that need to be resolved for timely billing.

    Required Education and Experience

    High school diploma or equivalent
