BHS Corrugated & Robotics is Hiring a Corrugated Carts Technician Near Knoxville, TN

BHS Corrugated is seeking a Carts Technician to join our growing team in our Knoxville, TN facility! Summary:The focus of the Carts Technician position is the processing of corrugating cassettes, to include disassembly, cleaning and assessment of incoming cassettes. Perform assembly of refurbished cassettes with or without rolls. Perform maintenance on BHS corrugating roll gudgeons. The individual shall be able to perform daily duties assigned with minimal supervision. This is an on-site position in Knoxville, TN requiring less than 5% travel.Responsibilities:

Perform incoming inspection and assessment: Perform inventory, assessment cleaning and documentation of incoming carts.
Cart Assembly: Repair and assemble carts and rolls with all associated hardware and plumbing. This includes Painting, bushing replacement, part refurbishment and any additional procedures required to refurbish the cartridge.
Bearing installation: Install bearings and races on outbound rolls per sales order requirements. Wrap and pack rolls in caskets for shipment. Verify all parts are included.
Gudgeon refurbishment and modification: Perform gudgeon removal, cleaning and installation in addition to removal and replacement of bolts on all BHS rolls.
Documentation: Complete all processing documentation, both paper and electronic. This includes routings, and labor tracking documentation.
Responsible to load and unload trucks for shipping and receiving. Use safe lifting, hoisting and pulling techniques to load and unload trucks.
General utility duties where required throughout the plant such as assisting maintenance, cleaning, or performing routine maintenance on equipment. Requirements

Requirements:

Flexibility to work night shift and overtime. Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
Lifting and rigging: Basic crane and rigging ability. This includes inspections of chains, slings and hoist for serviceability.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklift, perform pre-inspection, understand operating limits.
Toch and tool operation: Safely operate oxy acetylene torch as well as power and hand tools.
Physical requirements: Ability to stand for at least 45 minutes at a time and lift 35 pounds at waist level.
Ability to use computers, SAP and MS office applications.
At least 2 years manufacturing or mechanical experience.

Salary and Benefits:This is a full-time position offering $18-$22 per hour full benefits as seen below!
