Job Description: Job Description Surgical Technologist, Labor and Delivery Unit Shift: Part-time, Nights Job Description: Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direction of the registered nurse. Performs scrub functions and other roles, which support the perioperative plan of care. Assures the provision of comfort, safety and quality perioperative care for the patient. Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required: Successful completion of a program of Surgical Technician. Work experience and successful credentialing may be considered in lieu of formal program. Certification preferred. BCLS by the end of orientation.
