A growing health clinic is seeking a customer service-oriented Driver to assist the elderly by providing transportation to and from medical facilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Safely transporting elderly patients from their homes to medical facilities and back, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Providing friendly and courteous assistance to patients, including helping them in and out of the vehicle as needed.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and maintaining a clean driving record.
- Monitoring vehicle maintenance and promptly reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces.
- Communicating effectively with clinic staff to coordinate patient pickup and drop-off schedules.
- Demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding towards elderly patients, especially those with mobility or health challenges.
- Providing assistance with loading and unloading medical equipment or mobility aids as required.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a customer service or healthcare setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with elderly individuals.
