Scottdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a medical records coordinator for our center located in Scottdale, PA .

This position offers competitive pay and flexible scheduling. This position is a Part-Time position

In this role your medical records responsibilities will include filing information such as nurses' notes, resident assessments, progress notes, laboratory reports, x-ray results, correspondence, etc.

into resident charts. You'll also assist in developing procedures to ensure resident records are properly completed, assembled, coded, signed, indexed, etc.

before filing and return incomplete records / charts to the appropriate personnel for correction. Retrieve medical records when requested by authorized personnel and maintain a record of authorized information on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL RECORDS COORDINATOR

Previous medical record filing and maintenance experience preferred
