Position Summary: Performs a variety of routine and semi-skilled tasks involving general maintenance of Birmingham facilities and grounds.
Duties/Responsibilities:List the essential job duties that are specific to the position.
·Replacing light bulbs and fluorescent lights
·Making simple electrical related repairs
·Power washing and exterior painting projects
·Perform routine carpentry work (example: minor paint jobs, installing interior doors, door stops, adjustable shelving, etc.)
·Routine plumbing repairs (example: repairing leaks, unplugging toilets and drains, etc.)
·Making minor ground and lot repairs and maintenance
·Maintenance and cleaning of customer areas
·Dispose of used engine fluids, filters and air cleaners using proper equipment and ppe
·Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Years of Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
Other Years:
Experience required in: Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to (1 - 3 years) construction or facility maintenance trades experience.
