Compensation for this full-time position is $61,880-$74,360, depending on experience. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include without limitation: 

Journey Configuration: Assist with journey creation and strategy. Assist with connecting seasonal emails to customer journeys, handling journey configuration, settings, and final validation/testing. Adhere to the CRM x MarTech Campaign Launch Checklist SOP to ensure all items have been checked off. Additionally, add new items to the Checklist as needed for proper documentation of process.

· Journey Performance Tracking: Ensure journeys are configured correctly for effective performance tracking in GA4 and intelligence reports.

· Journey Monitoring: Monitor the functionality of live journeys to ensure they are operating as intended, keeping an eye on engagement splits and exclusions. Report any red flags or errors promptly to both the CRM and MarTech teams.

· Reporting Insights: Take the lead in introducing new reporting to gain deeper insights into CRM initiatives, ex: analyzing the efficacy of new extended journeys, flash sales, wait clauses, etc.

· A/B Testing Support: Assist with managing the A/B testing program, collaborating with the CRM Manager and MarTech team to set up tests in Journey Builder, document processes, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· A/B Testing Expansion: Work with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for A/B testing (copy, CTAs, images, etc.), and help manage the A/B test schedule, maintaining a calendar of testing activities.

· Compliance & Monitoring: Stay up to date on CRM compliance laws and sender requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance across all domains and email clients. Help monitor weekly sender threshold report and sender reputation reports/validity.

· Google Postmaster Tools: Monitor Google Postmaster Tools to maintain an understanding of sender reputation and deliverability issues.

· Transactional Lifecycle Management: assist in managing updates within Journey Builder for transactional lifecycle communications, such as Guest Member, Welcome Series, Open Res, Tour Confs, etc., ensuring emails are correctly connected to their respective journey points when new emails/journeys are created, or existing emails are enhanced.

· KPI Consistency: Monitor and cross-reference KPI reporting from various dashboards to ensure consistency and identify any discrepancies.

· Segmentation: Assist with data segmentation and automation for CRM campaigns.

· Assist with MarTech system support and upgrades.

· Assist with SMS texting and compliance for CRM campaigns.

· Assist with day-to-day operations in Marketing Cloud.

· Documentation: Regularly audit and update journey documentation in SharePoint, ensuring when new journeys are architected, they are accurately documented in respective powerpoints and excel docs for seasonal and transactional lifecycles.

· Lifecycle Audits: Be a point person for auditing current lifecycles, especially transactional ones, utilizing reporting tools and partnering with analytics to evaluate effectiveness.

· HTML/CSS and AMPscript Updates: Assist with basic HTML, CSS, and AMPscript updates on an ongoing basis to stay aligned with changing brand standards (such as headers and footers and maintaining dynamic content blocks) and W3C standards.

· Email Review Process: Play a key role in the email review process, reviewing copy, photos, links, and managing BGV test send inboxes (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) and ensuring emails display correctly across various clients and devices. Provide additional QA on mobile optimization.

· Future Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP) Initiatives: Assist with MCP projects such as implementing dynamic email content and utilizing affinities.

· CRM x MarTech Meetings: Attend various CRM and/or MarTech meetings, take meeting notes and contribute to efficient and productive discussions.

· Basic Photo Editing & Resizing: Possess basic Photoshop skills in order to resize photos utilized for supporting content blocks in Seasonal Campaigns and other lifecycles in alignment with our brand standards and sizes for seasonal campaign content blocks. Ability to enhance images, perform touch-ups and basic enhancements is a plus.

· SmugMug Management: Familiarize and become comfortable managing and navigating SmugMug to take the lead for CRM team on creating and managing folders for easy access for each seasonal campaign, including selecting and organizing photos into designated folders based on instructions from the CRM, E-commerce, and Customer Service teams.

· Writing Skills: Demonstrated ability to assist in writing creative copy for CRM support content, including body copy, titles, subject lines, and landing page copy when needed, while adhering to brand standards and marketing copy best practices.

· Troubleshoot issues related to HTML templates, responsiveness, deliverability, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution, as required.

· Stay abreast of and recommend email and CRM marketing best practices with coding, design, and testing of email campaigns.

· Uphold Hospitality Standards, Company Core Standards and Department Core Standards and observe Company policies and procedures.

· Be the “End of the Line” and resolve every situation inherited, not passing it along, whenever possible.

· Follow up on any situation that is not fully resolved at the time of the initial request always considering what the guest or owner deems appropriate.

· Respond promptly to all email and voicemail correspondence.

· Maintain a positive working relationship with all contacts, always being helpful and courteous.

· Adhere to Company appearance standards at all times; wear name badge when required.

· Attend and participate in company training sessions and department staff meetings.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university, 1 year of related email or marketing experience and/or training or combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

COMPUTER EXPERIENCE: Ability to operate a personal computer and type quickly by touch. Advanced knowledge and strong abilities using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a minimum of two years use of these programs. Ability to operate office equipment such as copier, fax, scanner, phone and calculator. Experience with mail merges, developing spreadsheets and writing formulas. Must be comfortable with search engines and navigating the internet. Ability to accurately record time worked in the correct department using the Company time keeping system.

WEB SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE: Experience in online What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editing and various online Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience and knowledge of website structures and HTML. Experience with Inntopia or TravelClick, Google Analytics, social media marketing practices and platforms, video production and email marketing engines.

LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to speak, read, write and interpret in English. Ability to read and interpret articles for publication, blogs, business correspondence, general business periodicals, instructions, job descriptions, memos, procedures, routine reports, rules, and schedules. Ability to write articles for publication, blogs, business correspondence, instructions, procedures, and routine reports. Ability to speak effectively and present information to top management, other employees of the organization, outside vendors and the public. Ability to appear in promotional videos and speak on camera or before small groups of people preferred.
