**Job Responsibilities**

* Plans, coordinates, and directs H&H engineering analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features

* Interacts with project clients

* Responsible for developing and mentoring less experienced staff

* Performs hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepares hydrologic and hydraulic models, evaluates results, and summarizes results and recommendations to produce drainage impact studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other drainage improvements

* Coordinates production and/or provides QA/QC to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation

* Provides technical input/review of project deliverables

* Prepares scope, budgets and proposals

* Responsible for financial tracking and invoicing

* Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field

* Registered PE in Texas

* Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, or related surface water engineering

* Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience preferred includes both steady and unsteady modeling, 1D and 2D modeling

* Experience in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, InfoWorks, XPSWMM 1D & 2D, MIKE Flood, ArcGIS 9.3 or later, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, and ArcHydro is preferred

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to prepare and delivery client presentations
