BGDC Distribution is Hiring an Inventory Control Associate Near Forest, GA

Primary Responsibility:
Operates and maintains the inventory of the warehouse. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of product stocked.
Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday 6PM-430AM
Essential Functions:
  • Count product in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
  • Compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of product and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price list and shortages.
  • Stocks and issues materials or merchandise.
  • Tracks damaged product and logs to system.
  • Performs cycle count as a percentage of warehouses on a weekly basis per instructions.
  • Runs warehouse exception reports and investigates irregularities.
  • Controls all hold by labels and physical restriction - reconciled weekly.
Qualifications/Additional Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years related experience in distribution or equivalent.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
PC skills, including Microsoft office.
