We are looking to hire a Resident Care Coordinator to join our team. The Resident Care Coordinator aids the Assisted Living Director in organizing and overseeing the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care operation within a community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintains consistent contact with residents and family members to provide prompt and courteous resolution to concerns.
  • Deal with resident concerns and requests on a timely basis, in coordination with the Assisted Living Director, to ensure resident satisfaction with management.
  • Ensure current resident files, inclusive of care plans, are properly maintained.
  • Aids the Assisted Living Director in coordinating all aspects of the operation to meet and exceed state regulations.
  • Aids the Assisted Living Director in achieving acceptable results from state and other regulatory agencies.
  • Assists Director of Assisted Living with hiring and training of department team members.
  • Provides support to staff to encourage team work and lead as an example in creating a harmonious environment.
  • Aids the Director of Assisting Living with maintaining community appearance and repairs.
  • Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis.
  • Utilizes technology as a practice to be efficient with community resources.
  • Ensure proper response and handling of all community emergencies with staff.
  • Represents the company in a professional manner at all times.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
  • Flexible, innovative and demonstrates the ability to lead and manage.
  • High integrity, positive attitude, mission drive and self-directed.
  • Passion, dedication and commitment for providing seniors an engaging, enlivening and captivating living environment.
  • Ability to identify issues before or as they occur.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
  • Five years of experience in the industry or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of the industry.
  • Thorough comprehension of the regulations related to the operation of the community.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not related to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the community’s EHR platform.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. You will also frequently walk, stand, and communicate with co-workers, guests, residents, and the public.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.
