POSITION SUMMARY:Our Redmond-based client is looking for a Product Designer for a Remote-based position.

Responsibilities

  • Designs user interfaces for web products.
  • Writes functionality design specifications.
  • Design and implement prototypes, mockups, task analysis, usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams.
  • Generates design ideas; presents and sells designs to product group.
  • Understands customer needs and motivations and integrates them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years' experience with designing user interfaces using Figma.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience with being able to communicate really clear about their decision making.
  • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years' experience with presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required.
  • Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas are required.
  • Experience creating and implementing usability studies, personas, user flows, wireframes, style guides, navigation structures, and affinity diagrams is required.
  • Should have general knowledge of web technologies (i.e. HTML and CSS).
  • Fluency with standard design software tools (Figma, Illustrator, etc.) required.
  • Strong interaction design and web technology skills may be required.
  • Experience working with rich clients or web applications is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality.
  • Must be familiar with industry standards and trends. Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

  • A competitive pay range of $50/hr- $52/hr (depending on experience).
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
