Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their education. Duties:
- Educate and engage children in various activities to promote their physical, social, and intellectual development
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum implementation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
-CPL 3, CDA, or other form of Higher Education
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
Skills:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child welfare guidelines and regulations
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies
- Proficiency in curriculum development, including literacy education
- Ability to plan and organize daily activities for preschool-aged children
