Job title: Director of Early Education non-profit organization

The Beverly Children’s Learning Center is seeking an experienced, capable, and passionate leader for our Early Education program. This position reports to the Director of Education and Children’s Services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the facility and staff adhere to all state and local regulations.
• Maintain a program of excellence relying on evidence-based evaluations and performance measures

• Exceptional communication skills with children, colleagues, and families – fostering respect, teamwork and inclusion.
• The ability to inspire staff and communicate the center’s mission.
• Strong business skills and professional maturity
• The ability to work independently and as a cooperative team member.
• Excellent knowledge of, and able to keep program current with all EEC regulations, Licensing requirements, Subsidy regulations, and CACFP guidelines.
• Support and promote a Nature Based Learning Approach
• Ability to market the program effectively to maintain full enrollment.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Education and EEC Director Certified
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Oversee daily operations of the program while being available to “roll up your sleeves” to assist when needed

Work Environment

• Must be able to take on classroom duties when necessary.
• Must be able to spend long hours walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting no more than 60 pounds.
• This is a full-time, year-round, on-site position. candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed.
