The Assessor completes Coordinated Entry assessments for individuals and families who present at Coordinated Entry points or call the Coordinated Entry phone, with a goal of identifying and providing support to individuals who experience homelessness. Additional work may be assigned at the discretion of the Coordinator, to support services to individuals or the network that advance the mission of WTHN.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Compensation: $20 per hour, not to exceed 20 hours per week, unless approved by WTHN Executive Committee. The position is considered part time and maybe temporary in nature based upon grant funded ability to continue the service.
• Scope of work and key deliverables:
  • Participate in relevant trainings and information meetings offered by HUD, THN, NN4Y, etc to stay informed and up to date.
  • Represent WTHN at relevant community meetings and events.
  • Return Coordinated Entry phone calls, complete Coordinated Entry Assessments, and all related data entry into the HMIS system in order to support neighbors experiencing homelessness.
  • Participate with Coordinator in compiling data to represent the WTHN (ongoing with monthly reporting) to include participation in Coordinated Entry Planning Entity (CEPE) and monthly coalition meetings.
  • Provide outreach and education to those experiencing homelessness remotely from the field.
  • Complete timesheets and follow personnel and fiscal policy for Betty Hardwick Center in completion of job duties.
  • Identify and coordinate strategic opportunities for collaboration to better serve the needs of those facing homelessness and housing instability and to achieve and maintain Functional Zero with priority populations.

20 hours per week. This is a Temporary position.
