The Deployment Management Team is a dynamic team that collaborates with teams across the entire organization to design and deliver the best possible implementation of our BetterUp products to our customers. The Deployment Management Team is responsible for driving change, standardizing processes, and continuously improving the delivery of the BetterUp product. The Manager also acts as a point of escalation for all in-flight deployments to support the Deployment team with their individual objectives.

This role is responsible for onboarding, leading, and developing the Deployment Management team to dynamically collaborate and execute multiple deployments, navigate challenges, understand new product offerings, and implement process changes quickly to deliver successful deployments to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, and continuously support and develop a growing team of Deployment Managers to effectively launch new deployments and product experiences to our customers and make considerable contributions to our moments that matter within the customer journey
    • Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and training to direct reports to ensure significant impact in their role, progress to their goals, and an understanding of their areas of development and ways to improve
    • Create opportunities for Deployment Managers to lead and contribute to custom deployments and cross functional projects to up-level their skills and impact across the organization
  • Drive or contribute to custom deployment projects and cross-functional initiatives tied to our organizational waffles, OKRs, etc.
  • Elevate the voice of our customers, Deployment Managers, and Account Teams to ensure Product visibility and cross functional alignment on known issues and opportunities to improve the customer experience
  • Create and maintain documentation, dashboards, and reports that provide cross functional visibility into the Deployments that we are leading and our progress toward completion
  • Create cross functional alignment on scalable improvements to deployment processes as the organization grows and as we develop new tiering within the customer experience and journey
  • Continuous strategic planning and iterations of the Deployment Management team's goals, responsibilities, and areas of development with a hyper focus on our mission and values
  • Develop the Deployment Management team's role and impact on the moments that matter throughout the customer journey and as we approach new challenges to reach our organizational goals
