General Summary: The Large Loss Estimator/Project Manager position is responsible for creating and managing estimates and jobs in the residential and commercial lines of business. This position will be responsible for meetings with clients, developing quality and competitive estimates using Xactimate software, managing the project status through completion, reviewing budgets and communicating progress with clients and management.

Essential Job Accountabilities:

· Ensure customer/client needs and requests are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.

· Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes.

· Consistently be able identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)

· Create and adhere to acceptable budgets and address overages as they present themselves.

· Line out sub-contractors and in-house employees

· Maintain a construction schedule and work with trades and management to ensure work is completed on time. Identify and present solutions when additional resources are needed.

· Demonstrate proficiency with source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents and deodorization techniques.

· Maintain vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain vehicles in a clean serviceable condition.

· Coordinate after hours emergency services as directed, including board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage and vandalism.

Ability to commute:

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Experience:

· 3 years minimum of construction and restoration estimating experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Must be proficient in Xactimate.

· Must demonstrate ethical and professional business practices and safeguard other people’s property and information.

· Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to work well under time constraints and pressure.

· Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

· Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Compensation:

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education, among other factors.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
