Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Companions. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and report changes in client's condition or behavior
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Implement behavior management techniques for clients with special needs, such as autism or dementia
- Ensure client safety and adhere to resident rights and privacy regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of client's living space

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or dementia is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (lifting up to [INSERT WEIGHT])
- Familiarity with personal care routines and ADLs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week

Experience:

• elderly care services: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

License/Certification:

Ability to Relocate:
