We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to help shape and execute our vision: empowering our clinical teams with software products that help them provide comprehensive services in ways that truly work best for our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our integrated product/engineering team, liaising with the Executive team, and managing the full lifecycle of product development—from inception and prioritization, through design, specification, and development, and finally to launch, follow-up, and iteration.

As an ideal candidate, you will be the most knowledgeable person in the room when it comes to any of our product offerings. You will be the expert on the products we build, with the ability to spot potential pitfalls and opportunities at the earliest design stages. You will care deeply about the quality of the products we ship, monitor their impact on operations and embrace accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the full lifecycle of product development, including:
  • Visioning and needs assessment
  • Product planning and assignment of tasks and deliverables
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch
  • Assessing product development and enhancement opportunities
  • Monitoring product development and evaluate results
• Owning the product roadmap and communicating with the Executive team, Board members, and other stakeholders
• Leading, defining and communicating product strategy to all stakeholders
• Leading and mentoring an interdisciplinary team across product, software development, data analytics, UI/UX, and IT
• Facilitating interdepartmental collaboration and transparency to ship best-in-class product
• Driving innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and bold thinking
• Helping the organization to decisively prioritize business goals and their product implications

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience as a product leader working with a software development team
• Gifted at interfacing with, and influencing, Executive and Board colleagues
• Familiarity with common technical management practices 
• Experience creating and communicating Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
• User-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process, including emphasis on the importance user experience and design
• Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key stakeholders
• Strategic & creative thinker
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills 
• Experience in healthcare is not required, but is a huge plus
• Bachelor or equivalent, in a technical field a plus

This is a full time, exempt position. This is a remote (work from home) position.
