Better Buzz Coffee, a San Diego, CA based company, is so excited to announce more new locations in Phoenix, AZ! Our first AZ location is open on 7th St. at Glendale Ave. If you love coffee and becoming part of a community, then please apply!

The General Manager is the leader of the location. This General Manager is responsible for creating the Buzz Life experience for all guests and team. The General Manager serves as a shining example of great service and showcases what it means to build connections at Better Buzz Coffee. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent Better Buzz Coffee experience that is in line with the values of the company.

This job will require training in San Diego, CA for an 8 week period of time.

Our GMs will work 45 hours per week, paid hourly at $28-$30 dollars/hour. Annualized, the hourly pay overtime equates to roughly $69K-$74K. Once open, you have an opportunity to earn a significant monthly bonus in addition.

Responsibilities

General Managers:

• Ensure that the Buzz Life Experience is being felt by each and every team member and guest backed by an amazing drink experience in a welcoming environment
• Hire, train, motivate, and inspire others to have fun and create a BETTER EXPERIENCE with every transaction
• Create and provide timely schedules for the team
• Execute daily labor and break compliance
• Run a profitable location
• Enforce brand standards and expectations such as proper uniform, cleanliness, and recipe adherence
• Champion a safe, harassment-free and discrimination-free workplace
• Lead the team with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy, and initiative
• Become part of the neighborhood and community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED graduate preferred
• 3 years of management experience required
• 3 years of Food & Beverage experience required 
• 3 years of high volume drive thru experience required
• New Store Opening Experience a plus
