Summary:

Ensures that the guest room quality standards are met by the Guest Room Attendants.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspects all vacant and clean rooms and communicates the release of rooms back into inventory
• Inspects all stay over rooms to ensure quality standards are met by the Guest Room Attendants
• Reports the guest consumption of food and beverage items to the front desk so charges can be billed to the guest
• Reports any maintenance needs to Guest Services Dispatcher so it can be repaired by the engineering department
• Assists housekeeping management in the general inspection of public areas and ensuring that quality standards are completed
• Assists housekeeping management to ensure that all storage closets are clean and organized
• Maintains and ensures compliance of all policies and procedures

Other Functions:

• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 3 years of related experience, preferably in a hotel environment; 2 of which were spent in a managerial position

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of general housekeeping related policies and procedures
• Ability to verbally communicate with others in order to coach and lead
• Strong interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills required
• Strong organizational and time management skills required
