HOURS: 7:30AM-4:30PM

Principal Account-abilities:

1. Provide a safe and creative space for the educational development of the children.

2. Serves as a liaison between teachers, children and parents.

3. Endeavor to carry themselves with integrity, excellence and display work ethics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible at all times for the care and safety of the children.

2. Assist in the implementation of the program's daily activities.

3. Observe, monitor, and participate in children's play activities.

4. Assist with special events conducted by the center.

5.Communicate with parents on an ongoing basis.

6. Performs other duties as assigned by the Center Director, Assistant Director, and Owner.

Educational Requirements:

The commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services requires a teacher to have attained one of the following levels of qualification:

• An associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
• A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and completion of a post secondary training curriculum described in the Commonwealth's regulations
• A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 2 years of experience working with children

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $12.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
