Description

Performs clerical duties, order and data entry utilizing multiple computer systems. Effectively communicate and facilitate all departmental orders and results to ED staff.

Serves as front-line departmental ambassador in customer service. Maintain a professional demeanor with internal and external personnel.

Work in conjunction with the ED team in order to expedite patient care and throughput and provide excellent quality care in a family oriented hospital setting.

Estimated Pay Range : $15.00 - $17.46 / hr. depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees : High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications : Basic Life Support Additional Qualifications : Previous experience as a Unit Secretary / Adm Partner desired.

Completion of a medical terminology course or previous experience in admitting / emergency or physician office (preferred).

Exhibits flexibility in scheduling to adapt to special circumstance prior and ability to multitask. Boca / Bethesda Only : BLS certification obtained within 6 mo.
