We are looking for a motivated, experienced, enthusiastic Dental Assistant with a great, lively personality. We have a great family environment among all of our staff and would like to add to that, and would hate to bring in a bad apple that ruins the relationships we have built together over the years. We encourage team work and balanced work load to be fair to all. We also expect that you have great interpersonal communication with patients and make them feel at ease. You would be expected to respect office rules and policies, the rest of the staff, and all of our patients.
We are also looking for great leadership skills since WE ALWAYS PROMOTE FROM WITHIN FOR HIGHER POSITIONS WITH HIGHER PAY. We never hire management off of the streets. So if you are looking for something more, and you have experience in assisting, this is the office for you to grow in.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients into our office with care and respect
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort and addressing their fears and concerns.
- Properly set up rooms with instruments, equipment and materials needed for any particular procedure
- Take down all above things after the procedure is completed and sanitize the rooms according to OSHA regulations
- Sterilize instruments according to OSHA regulations
- Assist our fine Dentists via 4 handed dentistry
- help with Lab tasks as instructed by management and our senior staff
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients
- Keep the dental rooms and the entire office clean (in accordance to OSHA regulations) and well stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn our multiple software's quickly
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Additional certifications and training move ahead of the line
