Bethesda Child Development Center is an Early Learning Center that focuses on making a positive learning experience for young children. Our programs provide a safe, loving, quality Christian learning environment where children will grow in knowledge, love, and faith.

Before and After Care Teacher duties include:

- Plan and implement daily lesson plans that align with the OCCL (Office of Childcare Licensing) regulations.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Create a safe space for children.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom community that promotes respect and cooperation among students.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan activites and projects.

-Maintain good communication with all families enrolled in program.

Qualifications:

- At least an Associate's Degree (preferred) or High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Previous professional experience working with students in a daycare, child care center, school, etc.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively manage student behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification

-Cerfication through Delaware First with at least an assistant teacher is a plus.
