Job Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics and ensuring efficient transportation operations.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, deliveries, and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Utilize transportation management systems for tracking and routing.
- Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations.
- Manage fleet activities and monitor driver performance.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize GIS tools for mapping and route optimization.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or related field.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and shipping receiving processes.
- Knowledge of Fleet Management systems and Transportation Management systems.
