Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pastor to join our church community and provide spiritual guidance and leadership. As a Pastor, you will have the opportunity to serve and support our congregation, deliver sermons, and provide pastoral care to individuals and families in need.

Expectations:
- Plan, lead, and facilitate meaningful weekly worship services
- Lead one full-time office administrator and part-time staff
- Work collaboratively with elders, teams, and lay leaders to share responsibilities aligned with mission and vision
- Foster robust and diverse Christian education, especially for adults
- Expand our relationship with other denominations and faiths
- Preach well-prepared, intellectually challenging, relevant sermons
- Balance leading with delegating
- Help us connect our areas of ministry to be attractive to newcomers
- Direct staff with firmness and courtesy
- Understand and appreciate traditional worship and music
- Work collaboratively to expand our outreach on social media

Responsibilities:
- Communicate and present biblical teachings to the congregation through sermons and other forms of worship
- Educate and guide individuals in their spiritual journey
- Provide pastoral care and support to individuals and families in times of crisis, grief, or need
- Conduct weddings, funerals, baptisms, and other religious ceremonies
- Mentor and guide church members in their personal growth and faith development
- Offer Christian counseling services to those seeking guidance or facing challenges

Requirements:
- Ordained Pastor within PC(USA)
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire an audience
- Experience in mentoring individuals in their spiritual growth
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and providing emotional support
- Knowledge of Christian counseling principles and practices
- Ability to manage relationships within the church and community with grace and compassion
