Requirements

Essential Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Haul loaded pallets of sod out of fields to designated loading areas. 
• Perform general labor tasks.
• Conduct a daily equipment inspection. 
• Abide by company work rules and safety rules.
• Other field labor assignments, as needed
• Safety - Attend monthly safety meetings; Appropriate PPE (Safety glasses/goggles, head socks, respirator, gloves, coveralls, face mask/shield, ear plugs, etc.) must be used at all times; Inform supervisor if you need replacement/additional PPE items

Requirements:

• Relevant product knowledge 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred

Performance Indicators:

•  Attention to detail and accuracy
• Adheres to Safety Policy and Regulations, uses PPE appropriately and always

Physical Demands of the position:

Position involves regular, and at times sustained, performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, kneeling, stooping, working in confined spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy (20-50 lbs.) items and occasionally very heavy (100 pounds or over) items; or may involve the complex operation of gasoline, electric, or diesel-powered machinery or shop equipment requiring the manipulation of multiple controls, fine adjustments or both. Position requires color, sound, odor, depth, texture, and visual perception and discrimination. Chemicals mixed by recipe and safely handled and stored. Ability to work under adverse weather conditions (cold – heat). 

Noise Level: Farming machinery.
