The Housing and Donation Specialist is primarily responsible for the collection and management of donations and the refugee and immigrant pantry. This is a highly collaborative role in which the individual will need to be a team-player and take initiative on the coordination of donations with all applicable internal and external parties. This position will oversee operations of the refugee and immigrant pantry including scheduling volunteers.

This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the coordination of volunteers to assist with donations and pantry operations;
• Work collaboratively with case managers to ensure client needs are met;
• Effectively solicit donations and communicate with donors as needed;
• Coordinate and facilitate the donation pick up process for refugee and immigrant housing;
• Ensure all donated items and used effectively in partnership with Volunteer Services;
• Complete other duties as assigned.
