MERIT Centre’s Adult Day Services is in need of a Program Assistant to assist participants of the program to have an enjoyable experience in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. The position helps create the uplifting environment by providing innovative programming . Assist the participants in maintaining or achieving the highest level of independence by providing opportunities, cares, and services of the service plan. Assist the supervisor in the day to day operations.

Must be 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable, have the ability to plan, organize, and facilitate the programming. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to function as a team member, and exhibit professionalism to participants, staff, and families.

Shift: Days, Monday – Friday (no weekends, no holidays)
Hours Per Pay Period: 54 hours
The employee will help transport participants to outside events activities by operating the transport vehicle.
