SUMMARY:

The Crisis Access Link Model Services (CALM) Clinical Supervisor oversees the CALM program by providing leadership to all personnel, in tandem with the Department Leadership, to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based services to children/youth, resource parents and families of origin. 

The CALM Supervisor will strive to improve outcomes for children/youth entering or moving within the child welfare system by supporting greater permanency, creating critical pathways of connection across systems, and providing supports to prevent crisis/disruption from emerging and creating stabilization. 

Within twenty-four hours of placement, they will ensure the team meets with the child/youth and resource parent in the home to assess their strengths, protective and risk factors, provide psychoeducation regarding trauma, and connect the child/youth and resource parent to each other and with resources to support placement stability. They will also ensure team will continue to provide on-going, consistent support until warm hand-off is facilitated, as well as work alongside child welfare partners and behavioral health partners collaboratively. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a mental health discipline, such as clinical psychology, mental health counseling, clinical social work, social work or other related discipline. A degree which exposed the student to provision of services through an internship experience in setting with children/youth and on-site supervision preferred. A minimum of one year providing supervision in a child/adolescent services agency is preferred.

Licensure is preferred but not required: Pennsylvania as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (with experience working with children/adolescents), or Licensed Psychologist. 

A minimum of two years of experience providing child services and/or behavioral health services to children and families service by the child welfare system is required.

Please note - this is Wednesday through Saturday - 4 10 hour days
