Description

This position oversees, directly or indirectly, the work of Case Managers supervisors, Case Managers, Case Aides, Outcome Specialists. It is responsibility of the CUA Case Manager Director to ensure that services are provided according to the standards set by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services practice guidelines. The Director, through the supervision of staff within the department, monitors the function of employees/case workers in the program. The Director is responsible for communicating and implementing policies/procedures, and other information from the administration to the members of the department. CUA Case Manager Director is supervised by the CUA Director.

Qualifications

• MSW. LSW preferred.
• Three years experience, at a supervisory level, in the Human Services programs field required.
• Three years experience in Child Welfare required. 
• Case management experience is required. 
• Valid, timely Child Abuse, Criminal History, and FBI clearances that meet all regulatory requirements.
• Good oral and written communications skills in English.
• Certification [or ability to obtain within one year of employment] as a Direct Service Worker according to the requirements set out by the Commonwealth and the Office of Children Youth and Families in regulation and bulletin.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, co-workers and visitors.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to learn and effectively operate other software packages as needed and required.
