Role Overview

Are you looking for a challenging office and field position that will grow you into engineering licensure? Our Engineering Associate position has been crafted to satisfy a curious, driven engineer-in-training who loves a healthy dose of autonomy and responsibility while working with soils investigation, foundation design, construction practice, code research and quality assurance tasks.

 Required Qualifications

  • Accredited BS Engineering or equivalent or imminent graduation.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Civil Engineering with soils or construction emphasis; Engineer-In-Training certificate; experience with construction processes or soils testing.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Variation of environments
  • Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.
  • Frequent walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, rock, etc.).
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be able to be insured by company fleet insurance.
  • Ability to lift 5 - 20 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate hazardous conditions such as frequent moving vehicles, construction equipment, and various construction materials.

 Hours and Schedule

  • Average 40 hours per week (8am-5pm, M-F).
  • Travel is occasionally required.
