BET Investments, Inc. develops, leases and manages apartments, student housing, office buildings and mixed use projects throughout the United States. We are currently seeking a full time maintenance technician to cover two multi-family properties in Horsham, PA. These are townhouse style communities totaling 194 units.

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician helps maintain the physical condition of the property in a clean and well-groomed manner in accordance with safety standards. Candidates should have prior experience with apartment/multi-family maintenance.

Duties:

• Keeps property management office, landscaping, community amenities and common areas free of trash and debris. Keeps dumpster and trash chute areas clean and well maintained.
• Assists in the preparation of make ready apartments.
• Assists in completing general resident work orders.
• Assists with completing the preventive maintenance program.
• Completes all necessary training as required for the position, including Fair Housing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property; due to on-call maintenance emergencies
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and auto insurance are required. Vehicle required.
• Must be able to work on call, weekends and over-time hours as needed.
• Must have ability to operate property equipment, lawn equipment and various hand tools in order to complete a service request and maintain facility.
• Must be able to stand, bend, push/pull objects, lift/move/carry objects, climb ladders and walk on rooftops while performing work orders or inspecting the facility. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work both inside and outside in all types of weather.
