ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Set up and operate Ackley printer and hopper in accordance with product specifications; trouble shoot during operation
• Read and follow batch record
• Record in process checks
• Responsible for ensuring maximum output of printer, quality of finished product, control waste
• Responsible for housekeeping of entire printer area
• Ensuring correct materials are being used for product produced
• Report mechanical or any other type problems to supervisor
• Perform other duties as required by the supervisor to ensure best operation possible
• Abide by all cGMP’s

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY : This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION :

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1-year Machine Operator experience outside of SCN BestCo or 3 months of Machine Operator experience at SCN BestCo or Certified Production Technician through NCMI.
• Must be able to lift and / or move up to 60 lbs.
• Must be open to work any shift that is necessary depending on the business needs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email
• Effective and clear written / oral communication skills fluent in English to clearly communicate with other team members
• Willing and able to clean and sanitize machines
• Constantly working in a high temperature environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• More than 1-year Machine Operator experience
• NC Manufacturing Institute graduate
• Pharmaceutical industry
• Prior manufacturing experience
• FDA experience
