Responsibilities

*Availability Monday-Thursday*

• Responsible for preparing/setting up/servicing breakfast bar and assisting guests efficiently and courteously
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
• Set up breakfast area
• Prepare breakfast according to operational policies and standards
• Attend to guests needs to ensure food and beverages are continually replenished and presented in an appealing manner
• Inventory food items and report on supplies to be ordered
• Control inventory for loss, waste, and spoilage
• Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the housekeeping supervisor
• Assist other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
• Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time
• Only within the guidelines established by management and to the extent of operating within DKN Hotels’ policies and procedures
• Access to the entire exterior and interior of the property
• Friendly and courteous to guests and fellow team members at all times

Qualifications

• English-speaking or bilingual
• Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments
• Walking for long periods of time.
• Repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing and pulling
• Reaching above, at, and below shoulder level

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
