Overview:

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Helper to join our team. As a Maintenance Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, ability to work unsupervised

Duties:

- Assist with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment

- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning

- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems

- Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Support other departments as needed with maintenance-related tasks

Experience:

- Basic knowledge of mechanical, patch and painting, flooring, all aspects of keeping a hotel looking good

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

-This is an entry level starting position

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Must be very dependable, available on call as needed if there is some type of emergency.
