Best Western Alpenglo Lodge in downtown Winter Park Colorado seeks a front desk team member with a positive attitude interested in the hospitality industry. Experience preferred but not required—strong communication skills and computer knowledge are a plus. Please Note: Two position assessments will be sent immediately after applying for this job. Responsibilities of Front Desk agent include but are not limited to:

• Register arriving guests and assigns rooms.
• Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, and special requests.
• It uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other hotel services.
• Manages and resolves all guest complaints professionally and courteously.
• Processes guest check-outs and handle monetary transactions.
• Depending on the shift, assists with the execution of complimentary guest breakfast.
• Maintains customers’ privacy.
• Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned
