We are currently seeking to identify experienced contracting/procurement and policy analysts to support operations at a major agency in the U.S. Intelligence Community. The ideal candidates will have experience shaping the direction of policy and ensuring that it aligns with organizational or governmental objectives. Prior experience as a Contracting Officer (CO) is a strongly desired.

Position Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Lead the development and strategic planning of policy initiatives.
  • Advise decision-makers on policy options and implications.
  • Direct research efforts and advise key stakeholders and policy influencers.
  • Significant knowledge of DoD contracting procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience with a range of contracting methodologies and types.
  • Ability to research, teach, mentor and foster lessons learned and good acquisition practices with stakeholders at all levels, ranging from senior level personnel to developing contracting specialists.
  • Proven ability to assist with strategic-level issues, agile acquisition policies and procedures, and acquisition planning.
  • Proficiency in Government Contract Writing Systems (e.g., PRISM, PD, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience with the US Intelligence Community (IC) strongly preferred. Candidates with relevant DoD experience will also be considered.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • 7 years of hands-on contracting experience.
  • Some positions may require a relevant acquisition certification, such as FAC-C, DAWIA-Contracting, or equivalent.
