We are actively recruiting and priority considerations will be given to candidates with the following Paramedic Licenses:

    - Fairfield, CA (Paramedics - Start ASAP)

    - Santa Rosa, CA (Paramedics - Start ASAP)

    - Merced, CA (Paramedics - Start ASAP) ($350 bonus for first 6 medics that can report by 3/4; paid upon completion of contract)

    - Oakland, CA (Paramedics & EMT's - Start by 3/11/24)

    - Peoria, Illinois (Paramedics - Start by 3/4/24)

    - Champaign, Illinois (Paramedics - Start by 3/4/24)

Basic Qualifications

2 years of busy 911 system paramedic experience

National Registry Paramedic

AHA ACLS, PALS, BLS

PHTLS or equivalent

Current Immunizations (MMR, Hep B, TDAP)

Negative TB test within the last 12 months

COVID Vaccination (or waiver)

Two (2) references within the previous 12 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications

10 years of busy 911 system paramedic experience

Average work tenure three years

Multiple instructor ratings

Undergraduate degree

Background and Character check capable

How travel paramedicine works

BPM supplies high-value low friction travel paramedics to ambulance services in need of short-term staffing support. Assignments are generally ninety days up to one year. Travelers work and integrate into the system's schedule, clinical expectations, and are under the day-to-day supervision of the client's team. To qualify as a travel paramedic candidates must complete an intensive screening and testing process. In general travel paramedics who earn a spot on the team will have to opportunity to accept three to four multi-month of assignments per year.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor conditions in a non-smoking environment. Requires lifting up to 70 pounds and carrying up to 50 pounds. BPM does not discriminate.
