We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- process payments, and provide accurate change
- Answer customer inquiries and assist with product location
- Promote sales by upselling and offering additional products or services
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in cash drawer reconciliation
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and product demonstrations is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is desirable
