About Us: We are part of a family of local brands that are locally family owned - Lucy’s Veterinary Care, Lucy’s Pet Grooming (mobile grooming), and Best Little Dog House in Georgia (daycare, boarding, and grooming). The Bakers took ownership of Best Little Dog House in Georgia in early 2022 where there is a large customer base. We are pet-centered and focus on minimizing stress to pets within our care and care about the health of pets in our care. We provide top quality equipment including everything you need to be successful. We also support the business with ongoing marketing to keep your commission and tips flowing well. Job Description:

We are looking for someone who is “good people” and is passionate about providing top quality care for pups in their care. Many of our customers are friends and neighbors of the owners and we genuinely care about the pups entrusted to us, our customers, and our team. This is a family. You are experienced in performing grooming styles per the breed standard across common breeds. You are someone who invests in ongoing grooming education to stay up to date on the latest developments in healthcare and style.

Great with customer interactions - being courteous and professional with the ability to politely educate customers on the right way to maintain a coat over the long term.

Responsibilities:

• Follow a provided daily schedule
• Provide quality grooming services including washing, blow drying, brushing, styling, nail trimming, gland release, and ear cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to company procedures for grooming operations and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

• Prior professional dog grooming experience
• Trustworthy, reliable, respectful, and self-motivated
• Above-average verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs short distances (we have a hydraulic bath tub and grooming table)
• Satisfactory background check and drug screening required

Pay: From $2,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
